Our Story

Tony Harris founded Avenue Construction in 2013, and in these past few years the company has gained recognition as one of the fastest growing General Contractors in the Nashville market.

His beginnings are far from glamorous yet set the foundations for him to go on to build something great. Growing up on a farm in West Tennessee gave him the tools to problem solve and developed a work ethic of integrity and grit. He spent his early career on job sites, building relationships with general contractors and subcontractors and learning the ins and outs of the construction industry. He stepped into construction, managing hotel and medical office projects and other projects in the public sector. The teamwork aspect of construction really caught his attention, with a team of experts using their unique talents to make projects successful. Launching his own company, he put into practice the early lessons he learned with the experience gained while working under previous employers. Today, the company continues to grow and adapt, yet Avenue Construction’s aim remains the same: to produce a quality product through intentionality, diligence, and teamwork.
