Woodstock Apartments

Challenge

Our client approached us with the idea to build a unique townhome complex in the Chestnut Hill area. He wanted to incorporate the use of lumber into the 42 units in a decorative way, bringing out the naturally warm aesthetic of the reclaimed wood.

Approach

The Woodstock Apartments located in the Chestnut Hill area of Nashville are some of the first multi-family buildings constructed in this part of the city. We incorporated reclaimed wood into some of the rooms, using this building material for floors and some of the exterior elements. This added to the unique character of this townhome project, with its iconic angles and colorful façades.
